Just a peek behind the curtain?
I could've sworn I'd made a little post about myself. Maybe I deleted it? I don't know. But now that I'm back on DW after another hiatus, I might as well throw this out there.
So, hello!
I'm Julien! Formerly Des, or DR. I'm a thirty-something internet old person who has been RPing since 2010 - and I've been writing fiction of one kind or another basically since elementary school. Sometimes I write fic, most times I prefer the interactive and collaborative nature of RP. I am non-binary (genderqueer if you wanna be more specific), and am fine with all pronouns.
My time zone is USA Eastern Time, and I work a 9-5 type job. That said, my job is not very strict or whatever, so I can generally find time to sneak in some tags during the day. I do a lot more during the evenings and weekends when I don't get distracted by video games. :P
I'm extremely shy about tagging out to new people, but I'm super open to new friends and new tagging partners for all kinds of threads. Shipping is awesome, but absolutely not necessary; I'm just as happy to write other relationships and interactions. I would prefer to let characters interact some before any smut happens (if it happens), rather than just having smut for the sake of it? It's fun to explore the character motivations and all the drama.
Also, you may have noticed, by this post and all of my other OOC posts, I struggle with being concise.
